Getting sufficient financing can be difficult for both established and startup businesses. It also can be frustrating if you don’t understand how different sources view a transaction.
In this workshop you will be introduced to many sources that might provide you with the funds you need. What is critical is being realistic about the stage of your business and what kind of funding is realistically available.
With this basic understanding you can focus your time to find the right lender or sources of capital and plan for your growth.
We will review the following
· Sources of Equity capital from personal funds to venture backing
· Bank Loans including SBA guaranteed loans
· Community Development Banks and who they are looking for.
· Asset based lending and leasing – great alternative sources
· Free Grants
Each option will be discussed in detail so you have a sense of the benefits and potential drawbacks for the business owner of each source of funds.
